'Best Music' Oscar noms for '06
Here are the music nominees for the 2007 Academy Awards. Academy favorite Thomas Newman gets another ‘Best Score’ nod, with last year’s winner Gustavo Santaolalla returning to the big show with his sparse score for Babel. These are the first nominations for Javier Navarette and Alexandre Desplat. Congratulations to Milan Records, who released the Pan’s Labyrinth and The Queen soundtrack albums.
