9/11 Tribute revisited
I received an e-mail today regarding an audio tribute I put together after September 11th, 2001. I think the timing is right to highlight that again with the release of Universal’s Flight 93 in theaters today (with music by John Powell). The piece is just under eighteen minutes long. If you haven’t heard it before then maybe you’ll enjoy it for the first time. Listen.
Have a nice weekend folks!

Funny story: Just today I was thinking about the 9/11 Tribute you had compiled and posted on cinemusic.net shortly after September the 11th. For some reasons I was unable to download it back then. I had pretty much forgotten about it, until today. So I went to the news section to look if maybe it was still there. And there I saw that you had just posted a new link, enabling people to listen to it again.
Anyway, great selections, very nice editing job! I can imagine how hard it must have been for you to choose from all the scores that would have been suitable and not make the suite 2 hours long.
